Clean and uncover the glass
Power off, wipe the screen with a dry microfibre cloth, and remove a loose or bubbled screen protector. Moisture and a lifting protector cause ghost touches. Let a damp phone dry in open air before charging it.
Do not charge a phone that has been in water until it is dry.
